1916 Talks

A series of four talks will take place on successive Thursday lunchtimes during February and March at the Unitarian Church in St Stephen’s Green (West) in Dublin. On February 25^th, Padraig Yeates will speak on political and social life in Dublin in 1916. On March 3^rd, Elaine Sisson’s talk will be on Irish education and Patrick Pearse’s St Enda’s School. On March 10^th, Mary Muldowney will address women in work, trade unions and the Irish Citizen Army. On March 24^th, Martin Maguire will speak on Dublin Protestants and the Easter Rising. The talks take place between 1pm and 2pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.
