Alexander Obolonsky is a prominent political scientist known for his extensive research and contributions to the study of Russian history and governance. He is a professor in the School of Politics and Governance at the HSE University in Moscow and author of ‘The Drama of Russian Political History: System Against Individuality’ (Texas A&M University Press, 2003) and numerous works published in Russian in Moscow.
