Raymond Geuss

Biography

Raymond Geuss is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. His books include Tracks in Chaos: Philosophical Orientation and Political Reflection (2026), Who Needs a World View? (2020), A World Without Why (2014), Philosophy and Real Politics (2008), and The Idea of a Critical Theory: Habermas and the Frankfurt School (1981). He is a Fellow of the British Academy.
